Daman

Daman
It was seven in the morning when I finally switched off my alarm clock. Gosh, I had overslept!! I peered in the passage way and saw that everyone was packing. Quietly I finished charging my camera and then moved on. By eight o’clock the car was out of the building. We first went to Goregaon to pick up my cousins. It was my big sisters eighteenth birthday and that is why we were going. We were going full speed on the expressways but were slowed in the cities. We finally reached our hotel, cidade de daman by one o’clock. We checked in and were settled around our bed, deciding if we should go swimming. Everyone except me were changing into their swim suits when I gave a brilliant suggestion. If we went now then we would get only fifteen minutes whereas after lunch we would get much more time and so everybody followed. At the lunch table we played cards and clicked pictures. After a heavy lunch we rested for a while and then jumped in the pool. After finding the same coin for two hours we came out. We washed up and then sat back in the car and went to the daman fort. Since everything was closed we just took a walk around. We went on an abandoned bridge and held up the sky. We came back all feeling nice and then went for some dinner. Luckily there was a domino pizza just outside and all had our share of pizza. In the night there was a live DJ going on and we danced ( I don’t know what I was thinking ) we slept a nice night and were woken up by the sound of my sister screaming that we overslept.

We then trudged along the beach until we reached the end. When I looked at my feet they were worse than humus( the dead insect one and not one that we eat. It would be tasty). We then went parasailing  we went to find our car and buckled up because boy this was a mucky situation. After having a bath ( the bathroom was brown instead of white) we went to fort daman to see it for real. We first went to the church where the designs quite intricate and big. We then went for a walk around the neighbourhood and saw a library. Although the kids section was a mess we stayed for a couple of minutes and then left. We were walking back to the car when we saw a leaf as big as two of my faces combined. We then visited the art gallery in Silvassa which quite impressive. We then had lunch and went to a very weird museum. It was tribal museum where there was some tribal stuff. We went back to our hotel. We then went to a very crowded beach where we saw the evening sunset and waves. We then walked  to our hotel. My dad wanted to walk so we were going walk it back. It was so noisy i thought that i was back in Mumbai. My dad got fed up so he just walked back to get the car while we continued our way front. We then saw the hotel and were relived. On the way back  my dad got some subwich. We sat and ate a subwich each . we then ran down where we saw a magic show which was kinda lame. We then sat there and ordered our food. The DJ then cranked up the volume to high and soon the dance floor was full. After a weird dinner and drink( i had a drink called Mickey mouse) we went up when the music had stopped and played what we call gulam chor with cards. We then sat up late in the night and watched my brothers favourite serial- Comedy Nights With Kapil ( all the other channels were in gujrati. We stayed up till twelve and then finally simmered down.

The next day we stayed in the pool for about three hours then finally ate breakfast and played cricket. Sitting at the back of the car while everyone was yakking away I finally fell asleep.
